Domain Transfer FAQ's
Please follow the guidelines provided by your respective service provider. However, there are simple rules which might be applicable as follows:
- The Domain Privacy services on your domain name should be disabled
- Verify that your registered Email Address is correct
- Please remove any locks that may have been enrolled in your name
- Get your domain name’s Authorization Code from your existing Domain Service Provider.
Depending on the action taken by your existing Domain Registrar, the process can take around 5-14 days.
No, we request that you transfer your domain name before expiry to ensure you don’t run into a problem
If your domain has expired and you’ve renewed it with your old Domain Registrar, then do not Transfer it within 45 days of the previous expiry date since it will not add one more year to your domain name and you will lose out on the Renewal payment done to your older Registrar.
As per the ICANN & Registry regulations, it is prohibited to transfer the domain names that have been registered within the last 60 Days. Please wait for 60 days from the date of registration before applying for a transfer of domain names.

Yes. As you're the boss for your Domains we cannot restrict the transfer process if you're not happy with our service. You can anytime transfer your Domains from Future18 to other service providers. However, before initiating the transfer request, you'll have to deactivate the Domain Lock and Domain privacy from your existing Future18 account and note the Authorization Code. To complete the transfer process smoothly it is recommended to keep the Domain Lock and Privacy as off until the transfer process is not completed.
